One of the first caves to be discovered was Lascaux Cave in 1940, says to be dated from 15,000s b.c.e. This cave contains very important and rare drawings such as Hall of bulls, and Chinese horses.The next period was called the Neolithic Period geological dating back to 8000-2300 b.c.e, the reason this period is important is because it starts the art work of pottery, surface work and massive stone arrangements called Dolmens and Cromlech.
